According to the International Coaching Federation, “Mentor Coaching for an ICF Credential consists of coaching and feedback in a collaborative, appreciative and dialogued process based on an observed or recorded coaching session to increase the coach’s capability in coaching, in alignment with the ICF Core Competencies. Mentoring provides professional assistance in achieving and demonstrating the levels of coaching competency and capability demanded by the desired credential level.”
Why Do You Need A Mentor Coach?
- Are you applying for your first ICF credential and have the required 60+ hours of coach training?
- Are you renewing your existing ACC credential?
- Are you working towards your PCC or MCC credential?
- Do you want to become a more competent and confident coach?
ICF requires 10 hours of mentoring; 7 of those hours may be completed in a small group, limited to 6 participants, though at least 3 hours must be completed individually with your mentor coach. The ICF mentoring process must take place over a minimum of 3 months in order to be accepted by ICF. We also offer 10 hours of one-on-one ICF mentoring focused solely on your credentialing preparation.
Coaching Supervision
According to the International Coaching Federation, “Coaching Supervision focuses on the development of the coach’s capacity through offering a richer and broader opportunity for support and development. Coaching supervision creates a safe environment for the coach to share their successes and failures in becoming masterful in the way they work with their clients.”
JST Coaching & Training offers coaching supervision either as a per session cost or in a discounted package for a minimum of 5 sessions.
